"The" Knowledge.

confusion.

so often reigns in the body of Christ. the bride is so conflicted. a clever ploy by a clever enemy.

some believe that the most important thing is scripture, some believe it is gifts of the Spirit, others prayer and still others worship.

some believe that being Christ to the poor and broken is the most important, others believe that it is most important to bring people into the church, and still others believe that missions is the most important thing.

i have even encountered some hippies in my travels who believe that "its all about being in the presence... man."

all of these things are important. in fact all of these things are crucial to the well rounded christian life. the problem is, many take it off the edge and get so focused on that one slice of the pie that they get thrown off of what is more important then all of them combined.

some churches are so focused on the Word, and scripture and digging in to the deepest meanings of the words that God has spoken that they get distracted and become so wrapped up in scripture that they loose sight of the Face of God Himself.

other churches put all of the emphasis in practicing spiritual gifts, but they loose sight of The One who gave them those gifts.

Beloved, instead of desiring scripture, let your desire for the Face and Knowledge of God, fuel your desire for scripture. Instead of desiring those spiritual gifts, desire the understanding of the Nature of Who He is and what he wants for your life, and let that open you to Blessings from the Spirit.

the only thing that matters: The Knowledge of Father; which when all else has passed away, when gifts of the Spirit will cease, when faith and hope are no longer necessary, will not only sustain our Joy eternally and forever continue to make us fall in Love with Him who is worthy of all glory and honor and praise, but also lead us to doing works to showcase His Love and Mercy to the world.

Everything else: meaningless.

Matthew 6:32-34
For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

So Beloved, Seek first the face of God, and everything else will come after.

Sit at His feet and He will tell you of Himself.
