1Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. 2He said: "In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. 3And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, 'Grant me justice against my adversary.'
4"For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, 'Even though I don't fear God or care about men, 5yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won't eventually wear me out with her coming!' "
6And the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says. 7And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will He keep putting them off? 8I tell you, He will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?" Luke 18:1-8
When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth? Faithfulness. When Jesus returns, as a Conquering King , Returning to Earth, in Victory, for His Bride, will He find that she is faithfully awaiting His return, and Lovesick for Him, her Lover? I think that the implied answer is a resounding "Yes!"
Yes He will return and find faith on the Earth, as a Bride is prepared for the Bride Groom on the Day of their wedding, So God is moving to prepare us, the Bride, for the coming of the eternal Bride Groom.
He is strengthening and purifying the church, readying us for that day.
1Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." Revelation 21:1-4
The "Faith" that Jesus speaks of, relates back to (phone call) the parable He had just told the disciples, and speaks of the prayers of those crying out to the Father for justice against the powers of darkness that inhabit the world we live in and are persecuted by. Justice for the orphans and widows, justice for the innocent oppressed and persecuted.
But I don't think this faith is just having faith that he will one day return to His Bride, but also living in our lives in AGREEMENT with the will of Christ in our lives.
So Beloved, we must cry out for justice and agree with Him in Faith and in our very existence And HE will bring HIS JUSTICE, AND SWIFTLY, AS SURE AS THE SUN WILL RISE, HE IS COMING!!
So Beloved, let us cry out for justice, day and night, justice for the broken and demoralized and let us live in a way that agrees to the work that He has commissioned us to, by seeking Him daily, sitting before Him, at His feet, in prayer and supplication, learning His Face and His Heart from the Word of His Mouth.
Let us Love Him
Then let us Love them.
